More than 90 employee tenants attended the Earth Day Tenant Fair hosted by CBRE, the building management firm at 3655 Nobel Drive in San Diego. Committee members and volunteers from the San Diego Green Building Council joined with SDG&E (which gave out low-flow shower heads and aerators), Brickman Group Landscaping (handed out drought-resistant plants), V-Ride.com (company/group carpooling), an E-Waste recycler and an assortment of food vendors (great ceviche) for the midday event.

SDGBC President Beth Brummitt will be speaking at the double-LEED Platinum Energy Innovation Center on March 18 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm, on the subject of Zero Net Energy. According to research released by Navigant in 2012, net zero energy buildings will account for $1.3-trillion by 2035.
