More than 90 employee tenants attended the Earth Day Tenant Fair hosted by CBRE, the building management firm at 3655 Nobel Drive in San Diego. Committee members and volunteers from the San Diego Green Building Council joined with SDG&E (which gave out low-flow shower heads and aerators), Brickman Group Landscaping (handed out drought-resistant plants), V-Ride.com (company/group carpooling), an E-Waste recycler and an assortment of food vendors (great ceviche) for the midday event.

Our Existing Buildings committee event with McCarthy Cook was very successful. We educated the building tenants on sustainable practices in the office and at home, promoting high efficiency buildings. We also raised their awareness about our volunteer work with the Chapter.
Stuart Kaplow and the Green Building Law Update make the claim that the "Energy Jump-start" alternative compliance method in LEEDv4 O+M is the single biggest change to LEEDv4.
