2012 Year in Review

From San Diego Green Building Council's executive director, Doug Kot:

With your support 2012 was an exceptional year for the San Diego Green Building Council (SDGBC). We moved our mission forward like never before; this report highlights a few of our proudest accomplishments for the year. Our professional development attracted more than 2,000 individual attendees and we offered more than 9,000 contact-hours of education on green building and sustainable planning. The volunteers in our Green Assistance Program certified their first LEED for Existing Buildings: Operations & Maintenance project at the WorldBeat Center in Balboa Park. Our community set the bar for National USGBC’s first annual Green Apple Day of Service with more than 100 participants volunteering and learning about green schools and completing multiple upgrade projects for the Pepper Drive School in Santee. We cannot do this—nor would we want to do this—without our community, which has grown stronger in each of our ten years of history.

Thank You.
